How to do it
- Stand tall and take a long step BACKWARDS with one leg.
- Lower until your back knee almost touches the floor, chest upright.
- Push through your front leg to return. Alternate legs.
Common mistakes
- Taking too short a step.
- Leaning your torso forward.
Tips
- Kinder on the knee than a forward lunge.
- Hold a wall if balance is tricky.
