How to do it

  1. Lie under a low bar or sturdy table and rest your heels on a box or bench.
  2. Keeping your body rigid, pull until your chest touches the bar.
  3. Lower under control until your arms are straight.

Common mistakes

  • Letting your hips sag.
  • Only pulling halfway up.

Tips

  • Raising your feet makes it closer to a heavier row.
  • Pause at the top, squeezing your shoulder blades.
