  • Advanced
  • Kettlebell
  • Unilateral

Wide feet, square hips as you row

Muscles worked

Primary:
Back
Secondary:
Core, Shoulders

How to do it

  1. Set up in a plank with your hands on two bells and your feet a little wider.
  2. Row one bell to your side without letting your hips rotate.
  3. Set it down and repeat on the other side.

Common mistakes

  • Twisting the hips on every row.
  • Using round bells that roll under your hand.

Tips

  • A wider foot stance gives you a more stable base.
  • It's as much a core drill as a back one: don't chase max weight.

Variations
