Muscles worked
- Primary:
- Back
- Secondary:
- Core, Shoulders
How to do it
- Set up in a plank with your hands on two bells and your feet a little wider.
- Row one bell to your side without letting your hips rotate.
- Set it down and repeat on the other side.
Common mistakes
- Twisting the hips on every row.
- Using round bells that roll under your hand.
Tips
- A wider foot stance gives you a more stable base.
- It's as much a core drill as a back one: don't chase max weight.
