How to do it
- Lie on a bench at about 30° with a dumbbell in each hand over your chest, elbows slightly bent.
- Open your arms in an arc until you feel your chest stretch.
- Bring them back along the same arc, squeezing your chest.
Common mistakes
- Lowering the dumbbells further than your shoulder tolerates.
- Locking your elbows straight.

- The incline emphasises the upper chest.
