Elbow to back pocket without twisting

How to do it

  1. Hold a low or mid cable handle in one hand, opposite foot forward and torso braced.
  2. Pull, driving the elbow close to your body towards your hip.
  3. Straighten the arm and let the shoulder travel forward a little to stretch the lat.

Common mistakes

  • Twisting your torso to move more weight.
  • Cutting the range short without straightening the arm.

Tips

  • Think of driving your elbow into your back pocket.
  • Useful to even out a weaker side.
