How to do it

  1. With the bar anchored in a corner or landmine, stand perpendicular to its end with one foot forward.
  2. Grab the end of the bar with your back hand and row, driving the elbow high and back.
  3. Lower under control until your arm is straight.

Common mistakes

  • Twisting your torso to lift the bar.
  • Cutting the range short at the bottom.

Tips

  • Rest your free forearm on your front knee for stability.
  • A flared elbow puts more work on the upper back and rear delts.
