Feet up, hips high, head to the floor

How to do it

  1. Put your feet on a chair or box and hands on the floor, hips piked high.
  2. Bend your elbows until the crown of your head nears the floor.
  3. Press to full extension keeping the hips high.

Common mistakes

  • Dropping the hips and turning it into a push-up.
  • Flaring the elbows out too wide.

Tips

  • The higher the feet, the closer it gets to a handstand.
  • The bridge between the pike push-up and the wall handstand push-up.

Variations

The same exercise with different equipment, grip or setup.
