Front-foot-elevated split squat

How to do it

  1. Put your front foot on a 10 cm step or plate and the other a long stride behind.
  2. Lower straight down until your back knee almost touches the floor.
  3. Drive up through the front leg and finish your reps before switching.

Common mistakes

  • Shortening the stride and overloading the front knee.
  • Leaning your torso.

Tips

  • Raising the front foot increases the range and the glute stretch.
  • Add dumbbells once 15 reps feel easy.
