How to do it

  1. Rest your forearm on a door frame or wall with the elbow at shoulder height.
  2. Take a small step forward and rotate your torso away.
  3. Hold the stretch while breathing, then switch sides.

Common mistakes

  • Raising the elbow above the shoulder if it bothers you.
  • Stretching into pain rather than tension.

Tips

  • A good finish for pushing days.
  • A higher or lower elbow changes which part of the chest stretches.
