How to do it
- Lie on your side with the inside of your top leg resting on a chair or bench.
- Lift your hips until shoulder, hip and ankle line up, supported on your forearm.
- Hold the prescribed time and switch sides.
Common mistakes
- Rotating the torso toward the floor to last longer.
- Starting with the support at the ankle: that's the hardest version.
Tips
- The best adductor exercise there is, and it prevents groin injuries.
- Start supported at the knee and move the support toward the ankle over time.
