Bell at chest, elbows inside the knees

Muscles worked

Primary:
Quads
Secondary:
Glutes

How to do it

  1. Hold the kettlebell against your chest with both hands, elbows tucked in.
  2. Lower for 2 s until your thighs are parallel to the floor, chest tall.
  3. Drive through your heels to stand back up without fully locking your knees.

Common mistakes

  • Letting your torso tip forward.
  • Letting the bell drift away from your chest, which loads the shoulders.

Tips

  • The bell against your chest helps keep your back upright.
  • Track your knees over your feet — not caving in or flaring out.
