How to do it
- Support yourself on the parallel bars with arms extended and shoulders away from the ears.
- Lift the body and hold the legs straight and horizontal in front.
- Hold the position for the target time.
Common mistakes
- Hunching the back and sinking the shoulders.
- Bending the knees to make it easier unintentionally.
Tips
- The bars give more clearance than the floor to start.
- Push the bars down and lock the elbows.
