Kettlebell good morning
- Intermediate
- Kettlebell
Hips back with a flat back, bell close
Muscles worked
- Primary:
- Hamstrings
- Secondary:
- Back, Glutes
How to do it
- Hold the bell against your chest with both hands, feet hip-width apart.
- Push your hips back, lowering your torso with a flat back.
- Come up squeezing your glutes until you're tall.
Common mistakes
- Bending the knees until it becomes a squat.
- Going lower than you can keep a flat back.
Tips
- It's a hinge pattern: the knee barely bends.
- Done right you feel it in the hamstrings, not the lower back.
