How to do it

  1. Lie on your back and press the lower back into the floor.
  2. Lift the shoulders and legs into a slight curve (banana).
  3. Hold with the arms extended overhead.

Common mistakes

  • Letting the lower back lift off the floor.
  • Raising the shoulders or legs too high.

Tips

  • If hard, bend the knees or lower the arms.
  • Progress by adding time or reaching your arms and legs further.
