How to do it
- Facing a wall, put one foot a hand-width from it in a half-lunge.
- Drive the knee towards the wall without lifting your heel.
- Come back and repeat; move the foot further away if it's easy.
Common mistakes
- Lifting the heel to reach the wall.
- Letting the knee cave in.
Tips
- Improves squat depth.
- Compare both sides: one is usually stiffer.
